Born and raised in Argentina, I came to the US to do an MBA at the University of Virginia Darden Business School. After graduating, I started working at Allianz Partners as a regional Product Manager for the Travel Insurance line of business, which was my first experience with the insurance industry. I quickly fell in love with the industry so I decided to pursue my CPCU designation. Now that I completed it, I am thrilled to serve as your South Florida chapter president.

Julia E. Berdzik

Marsh

Julia Berdzik works as a broker at Marsh in its Miami office. She is well-rounded having worked within Marsh's trifecta of business sectors: placement, account management, and sales. Julia uses her background, experience, and credentials to be a differentiated risk advisor and broker, who assists clients in preempting emerging risks, as well as guiding clients through challenging market conditions to achieve optimal results.

In addition to the CPCU, Julia possesses the ARM, AIDA, ARe, and ASLI designations, and holds broker licenses for both Property & Casualty lines, as well as Health & Benefit lines. She is an alumni of the Honors Program at Saint Joseph’s University, and was a student of the Maguire Academy of Insurance & Risk Management, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Risk Management & Insurance in 2022.

Denis Becirovic

Denis Becirovic brings nearly a decade of experience in the insurance sector, having honed his underwriting expertise at esteemed institutions such as Chubb, Navigators (a Hartford brand), and currently with Relm. Specializing in Management Liability and Professional Liability for public, private, and non-profit companies, Denis has earned a commendable reputation as a reliable and knowledgeable underwriter.

Denis is dedicated to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends. Currently, he is focused on emerging markets, including digital assets, cannabis, AI, and space. His commitment to exploring innovative ways to enhance the insurance experience for all companies underscores his forward-thinking approach.

Outside of his professional life, Denis enjoys spending quality time with his family, traveling to new destinations, and experiencing diverse cultures and their delicious cuisines.
